Ice Blueprint: Ice Vessel 01 – Unrealized Corpus

Ice Vessel 01 – Unrealized Corpus

3D Printed Sculpture, PLA Resin

637×408×700mm

Ice Vessel 01 – Unrealized Corpus originates from an unrealized ice carving prototype created during the artist’s 2024 winter residency in Harbin. The carving was abandoned due to shifting ice on the river surface.

The sculpture is realized remotely via 3D printing and is submerged within an artificial ice block formed by rainwater frozen in Auckland, New Zealand, creating a layer of temporal suspension.

As a “semantic shift point” within the Ice Blueprint research system, the work embodies a cooling state between structural desire and spatial refusal, encapsulating authentic materials—ice, fragments of spirit, and bodily consciousness—within its core.
